How it works
The Transformer Table starts as a console just 18 inches deep. Five extension panels store separately and slide into place along a steel rail system, each one adding 20 inches of length. Add one panel for a weeknight dinner for six. Add all five and you have a 118 inch table with room for 12.
Closing it takes the same few minutes. When dinner is over, the panels come out and the table goes back to a console against the wall.

Photos only tell you so much about a table that moves. The Transformer Table is on the floor at our Coquitlam showroom, so you can open it, close it, and see how it feels at each length before you commit to one.
It is also the easiest way to choose a finish. Scandinavian Oak and Canadian Birch read very differently under daylight than they do on a screen, and the grain on Smoked Hickory and American Walnut is worth seeing in person.

About the Transformer Table
The Transformer Table solves a problem most dining rooms have. You need a table that works on a Tuesday night for two people and still works in December when 12 people show up. Most homes end up compromising on one or the other. This one does not ask you to.
Closed, it sits at 18 inches deep, about the footprint of a console table. It can live against a wall in a hallway, behind a sofa, or in a condo dining area that a fixed table would swallow. When you need it, five extension panels slide in along a steel rail system and take it out to 118 inches.
Prestige carries the Transformer Table line because it does something our custom built furniture cannot. Our solid wood pieces are made to order over 8 to 12 weeks, built to your dimensions and your finish. The Transformer Table is stocked, and ships in days. Different job, same standard we apply to everything we put our name on.

Choose this finishEvery finish is natural wood, so variation in tone, grain and knotting between pieces is normal and expected. No two tables look exactly alike.
Care
Wipe with a soft, damp cloth using water or a cleaner made for wood. Avoid all purpose cleaners and anything abrasive, as they will damage the finish over time. Use placemats and coasters under hot dishes, and felt pads under anything you slide across the surface.

All sales on the Transformer Table line are final, so we do not accept returns or exchanges. If you would like to see and try the table before deciding, it is on display at our Coquitlam showroom, and we are happy to talk you through finishes and configurations over the phone. Manufacturing defects are covered under the manufacturer’s warranty.
How do I care for the finish?
